MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide health education and access to healthcare services to low income villages in rural India. There’s an old proverb that says, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". At Tulsi Health Foundation, we aspire to do both.

STATEMENT FROM THE FOUNDERS
Nagpur, India is a very special place for both of us. Being children of first generation immigrants, we have spent most of our childhood summer vacations visiting our families and got a chance to really submerge ourselves in the local culture.
We created Tulsi Health Foundation because we believe that every individual, regardless of socio-economic status, has the right to access health care services and learn about best practices in an approachable and relevant way. If we can work with local hospital to expand and bring their services to the villagers, we are one step closer to closing the disparity on access to health care services between the rural and urban populations of India.
